A 16-light chandelier from Kichler's Monroe collection, finished in brushed nickel with satin etched glass shades, designed for grand dining rooms and living rooms.
The Monroe chandelier puts a unique twist on traditional Americana. Its distinctive metal base features a Brushed Nickel finish that beautifully complements the Light Umber Etched Glass adornment. This design turns tradition on its head to create an updated, elegant look suitable for large spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables seating 8-12, hung 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Living rooms or great rooms with high ceilings (9 ft or more), as a central focal point
- Entryways with two-story foyers, making a dramatic first impression
- Ballrooms or event spaces requiring substantial ambient light
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft—the chandelier is 48 in tall and requires clearance
- Small spaces under 15 x 15 ft—the 45 in width may overwhelm
- Dry locations only—not rated for damp or wet areas
How bright is it?
This chandelier accommodates 16 A19 bulbs (not included), each up to 75W incandescent or equivalent LED. With 16 x 75W bulbs, expect up to 12,000 lumens—very bright, suitable for large rooms. For a dimmer ambiance, use lower wattage or dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on bulbs. Satin etched glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The Brushed Nickel finish reflects light subtly, adding a touch of elegance.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 45 in wide and 48 in high. It comes with 72 in of chain and 71 in of wire, allowing for adjustable hanging height up to 122 in total. The backplate is 6.5 in diameter. Suitable for ceilings 9 ft or higher.
