An 8-light tiered chandelier from Kichler's Malene collection, finished in black steel, designed for foyers and dining rooms.
The Malene chandelier draws inspiration from the graceful movement of rippling water, with soft sweeping arms and elegant stacked details. Its black finish adds refinement, and it includes two sets of candle sleeves (white for a traditional look, black for modern) to customize the style.
Best for
- Foyers and entryways with two-story ceilings, as a dramatic centerpiece
- Dining rooms 12x14 ft or larger, hung 30-36 in above the table
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture defines the space
- Traditional to updated traditional interiors with neutral or warm tones
- Sloped ceilings up to standard pitch, using the included chain
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the chandelier hangs 43.5 in tall plus chain
- Low-light needs - 8 bulbs at 60W each provide substantial illumination
How bright is it?
Uses 8 candelabra bulbs (60W max each, not included). With incandescent bulbs, total output is approximately 4800 lumens - bright enough for a large foyer or dining room as primary lighting. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on your choice of bulbs. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright functional light to soft ambient light.
