A 3000K LED in-ground accent light with a 35-degree beam angle, field-configurable lumen output (350/550/850 lumens), and a durable brass construction rated for drive-over loads up to 4600 lbs.
The Kichler VLO (Vertical Light Output) in-ground accent light is designed for professional landscape lighting. Featuring the Lumen Effects System, you can easily switch between three lumen outputs using the included magnetic key. Its IP67 drive-over rated design handles static loads up to 4600 lbs, making it ideal for driveways, pathways, and garden beds. The centennial brass finish resists corrosion for long-lasting performance.
Best for
- Driveways and pathways, installed flush with the ground for subtle uplighting
- Garden beds and landscape features, highlighting trees, shrubs, or architectural elements
- Commercial and residential landscapes requiring durable, drive-over rated fixtures
- Wet location outdoor areas, such as exposed gardens or near water features
Not ideal for
- Indoor use – this fixture is designed for outdoor landscape installation
- Spaces requiring a wide beam angle – 35-degree beam is narrow and focused
- Low voltage systems without a 12V transformer – requires 12V AC power
How bright is it?
Three selectable lumen outputs: 350, 550, or 850 lumens. 850 lumens is comparable to a 60W incandescent, suitable for accenting medium-sized trees or architectural details. Use the magnetic key to adjust brightness as needed.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white with a CRI of 80 – a soft, warm tone that flatters natural landscapes and warm-toned hardscapes. The 35-degree beam angle creates a focused cone of light for precise accenting.
Sizing and fit
Measures 7 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 8 inches high. Requires a 12V AC power source. The fixture is designed for in-ground installation with a protective housing. Drive-over rated for static loads up to 4600 lbs.
