A 24-inch wide 1-light pendant from Kichler's Hatteras Bay collection, finished in Olde Bronze with a clear Fresnel lens, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Hatteras Bay pendant combines a classic transitional silhouette with a distinctive Fresnel lens that casts a warm, diffused glow. The Olde Bronze finish adds a timeless, slightly weathered look that complements both traditional and modern interiors. With a 36-inch chain and 67-inch wire, it offers flexible hanging options for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter
- Dining rooms with tables 48-60 in, centered as a statement piece
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8-10 ft, providing ambient light
- Open-concept living areas where a single fixture defines a zone
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces under 8 ft ceilings if you need the full 58 in hanging height
- Rooms requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb installed. It accepts one 200W A21 incandescent bulb (not included), which can produce up to about 3000 lumens - enough to light a kitchen island or dining table as a primary source. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage or dimmable LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
The Fresnel lens softens and spreads the light, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting ambiance. With a standard incandescent bulb, the light is warm (around 2700K). The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and intimate.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 23.75 in wide and 19.5 in high, with a total adjustable height from 58 in (minimum with chain) to 94 in (maximum with full 36 in chain). The canopy is 5 in diameter. It works best on ceilings 8-10 ft high. A slope ceiling kit is included for angled ceilings up to 45 degrees.
