An oversized 1-light wall sconce in black with clear glass, built for entryways and exterior walls.
The Goson honors industrial simplicity, drawing on the leaded glass windows of old factory architecture. Its black geometric frame and clear glass give it a clean, uncluttered look that suits luxe industrial, modern industrial, and farmhouse exteriors. At 24 in tall it makes a substantial statement beside a door or on a garage wall.
Best for
- Entryways and front doors, flanking the opening in pairs
- Covered patios and porches - rated for wet locations
- Garage walls and exterior facades in industrial or farmhouse styles
- Hallways and stairwells indoors where a tall, narrow sconce fits
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or tight hallways where a 24 in tall sconce would overwhelm the wall
- Spaces that need bright task lighting - this is an accent fixture
- Installations where you cannot anchor into a stud or solid backing for the 9.5 x 6 in backplate
How bright is it?
Uses one 150W A19 bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; with a standard 150W incandescent bulb it provides strong accent light, and with LED bulbs you can dial brightness and color temperature to taste.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb installed. The clear glass gives a crisp, unobstructed glow rather than a diffused one. Dimmable when used with a dimmer switch (sold separately); when using LED bulbs, check the bulb manufacturer's dimming specifications.
