A 12-inch square 2-light pendant from Kichler's Dame collection, finished in textured black with transparent glass, for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Dame pendant features a clean, geometric design with a textured black steel frame and transparent glass panels that showcase the candelabra bulbs. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces or for grouping multiple pendants over a kitchen island.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in pairs or threes for even task lighting
- Dining areas with small tables, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Entryways and hallways as a single statement piece
- Modern, industrial, and transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms where a single pendant may look undersized; consider grouping
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if hung at maximum height
How bright is it?
With 2 candelabra bulbs (60W each, not included), total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using 60W incandescent equivalents, expect around 800 lumens per bulb for a total of 1,600 lumens - suitable for task lighting over a small island or ambient lighting in a dining nook. LED bulbs can achieve similar brightness at lower wattage.
Light color and feel
The transparent glass provides clear, unobstructed light, creating a bright and crisp ambiance. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs, allowing you to adjust the brightness.

The pendant measures 12.5 inches square and 19.5 inches high. It includes 96 inches of electrical wire and 36 inches of chain, with a minimum overall height of 36 inches. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter. Sloped ceiling compatible.
