A 12-inch outdoor wall sconce from the Chesapeake collection, finished in black with satin etched glass, designed for covered patios and entryways.
The Chesapeake collection embodies America's coastal communities with its traditional design. This 1-light sconce is formed from die-cast aluminum by skilled craftsmen, featuring a black finish and satin etched glass that diffuses light beautifully. Its wet location rating makes it suitable for covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, mounted beside doors or along walls for ambient lighting
- Entryways and front doors, providing a warm welcome with traditional coastal style
- Garages or carports, as a durable outdoor light source
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover - this fixture is rated for wet locations but performs best when sheltered
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Uses one 100W A19 bulb (not included) for up to 1600 lumens with an incandescent bulb - bright enough for outdoor accent and security lighting. For lower brightness, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
Bulb-dependent; with a standard 2700K-3000K LED, the satin etched glass produces a warm, diffused glow that flatters coastal and traditional exteriors. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
Measures 6.5 inches wide and 11.75 inches high, extending 8 inches from the wall. Backplate is 4.25 x 6 inches. Ideal for standard wall heights and covered outdoor areas.
