A 1-light outdoor wall lantern from the Barrie collection, finished in black with clear beveled glass, designed for covered patios and entryways.
This classic outdoor lantern from Kichler's Barrie collection combines traditional styling with durable cast aluminum construction. The black finish and clear beveled glass panels create a timeless look that complements a variety of architectural styles. Rated for wet locations, it's built to withstand the elements while providing warm, inviting light.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, mounted beside the door for ambient lighting
- Entryways and front doors, adding a classic touch and welcoming glow
- Garage side doors or back entrances where weather-resistant lighting is needed
- Along walkways or near garden gates when paired with multiple fixtures
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover - this fixture is rated for wet locations, but best performance is under a covered area
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Uses one 100W A19 bulb (not included). With an incandescent bulb, expect about 1600 lumens - bright enough for a welcoming glow at an entryway or ambient light on a covered patio. For lower energy use, consider an LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting look, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear beveled glass provides a clear view of the bulb, so decorative or vintage-style bulbs add character.
Sizing and fit
Measures 4.75 inches wide and 8.5 inches high, with a 5.75-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.75 inches in diameter. Ideal for standard wall heights and narrow spaces.
