An 8-inch, 1-light mini pendant from Kichler's Avery collection, finished in Olde Bronze with clear seeded glass, designed for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Avery mini pendant features a classic transitional design with an Olde Bronze finish and clear seeded glass that adds texture and visual interest. The adjustable cording allows for flexible hanging heights, and the working paddle switch provides convenient on/off control at the fixture.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three over a 6-8 foot island
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, hung 30-36 inches above the table
- Entryways and hallways, used as a single accent light
- Over a sink or counter in a kitchen or bar area
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces where a large amount of ambient light is needed - this is a single 100W bulb fixture
- Very low ceilings under 7 feet - the minimum hanging height may be too low
How bright is it?
With a single 100W A19 bulb (not included), this pendant can deliver up to 1,600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a sink or island, or as accent lighting. Comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear seeded glass provides a slightly textured, diffused light that reduces glare while still showing the bulb. Using a warm white bulb (2700-3000K) creates a cozy, inviting glow. The fixture is not dimmable as shipped; for dimming, use a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall. With the adjustable cording, the overall height can range from a minimum of about 12 inches to a maximum of 125 inches, accommodating ceilings from 8 to 10 feet. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter.
