A 47-inch 10-light chandelier from Kichler's Armstrong collection, finished in white with a mid-century 'Sputnik' design and adjustable arms.
The Armstrong chandelier features a striking mid-century 'Sputnik' design with adjustable arms that let you customize the light spread. The white finish and exposed bulbs create a bold, sculptural statement. Made of steel, this fixture is rated for dry locations and brings a retro-modern vibe to any space.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 60-72 in long, hung 30-36 in above the table
- Great rooms and living rooms with 10+ ft ceilings
- Open-concept spaces where a dramatic light fixture is the focal point
- Mid-century modern and contemporary interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas—rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with low ceilings (under 9 ft)—the fixture is 53.5 in tall
- Rooms requiring dimmable lighting—this fixture is not dimmable
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft—the 47-inch width may overwhelm
How bright is it?
The fixture accepts ten 100W G-type bulbs (not included). With ten 100W incandescent bulbs, expect about 10,000 lumens total—very bright, suitable for large rooms. With LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness at lower wattage.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. For a cooler, more modern look, choose 3500K-4000K. The exposed bulbs are a key design feature, so decorative globe or tubular bulbs enhance the aesthetic.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 47 in wide x 53.5 in high. It comes with 36 in of chain and 62 in of wire for adjustable hanging. The backplate is 6 in diameter. Works best with 10+ ft ceilings. A slope ceiling kit is included for sloped ceilings.
