A 38-inch 6-light linear chandelier from Kichler's Alden collection, finished in warm Natural Brass for traditional kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Alden linear chandelier features an asymmetrical design with a warm Natural Brass finish over steel, creating a stunning yet simplistic look. Its 72-inch chain allows for versatile hanging heights, making it suitable for various ceiling types including sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the counter for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Open-concept living areas where a linear fixture defines the dining zone
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, thanks to the included slope ceiling kit
- Traditional and transitional interiors that benefit from a warm brass accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 56 inches
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a linear fixture may overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Uses six 60W B-type bulbs (not included) for a total of up to 360W incandescent equivalent. Actual brightness depends on bulb choice; with LED bulbs, expect 600-800 lumens per bulb for a combined 3600-4800 lumens - enough to brightly illuminate a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is user-selectable via bulb choice. The Natural Brass finish warms the light's appearance, complementing warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs for a cozy, inviting glow. Not dimmable unless dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer are used.
