A 36-inch black steel light chain for extending pendant or chandelier drops in entryways, dining rooms, and living spaces.
This Kichler Accessory light chain is a simple, functional way to adjust the hanging height of your ceiling fixture. Made of durable steel in a black finish, it blends with most modern and traditional decor. The chain comes in a 36-inch length and includes multiple finish options for the chain itself (Black/Champagne Bronze/Polished Nickel) to match your fixture.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers where you need to lower a chandelier to the right height
- Dining rooms with high ceilings, allowing a pendant to hang at eye level above the table
- Living rooms with vaulted ceilings where a standard chain is too short
- Custom fixture installations where you need extra length for sloped or angled ceilings
Not ideal for
- Fixtures that require a specific non-standard chain type or gauge
- Outdoor or damp locations - this chain is for dry indoor use only
How bright is it?
This is a light chain accessory, not a light source. It does not produce light; it is used to hang a light fixture.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this is a hanging chain, not a light fixture.
Sizing and fit
The chain measures 36 inches in length and 1 inch in width. It is designed to work with most standard ceiling fixtures that use a chain mount. Weight capacity is not specified by the manufacturer, but the steel construction supports typical pendant and chandelier weights.
