A 12-inch, 2-light flush mount in natural brass and steel with vintage industrial style, ideal for hallways and bedrooms with low ceilings.
This Kichler flush mount combines a vintage industrial aesthetic with a natural brass finish over steel construction. Its compact profile sits close to the ceiling, making it perfect for spaces where clearance is limited. Rated for dry locations only.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors 4-6 ft wide, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms with 8 ft ceilings, as a primary ceiling light
- Entryways and mudrooms where a low-profile light is needed
- Closets and laundry rooms, as a functional overhead light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft - the 12-inch size may not provide enough light
- Spaces requiring a decorative statement - this is a functional, understated design
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. This flush mount accepts 2 medium-base bulbs (not included) up to 60W each. With 2 x 60W incandescent bulbs, total output is approximately 1200-1600 lumens - similar to a single 100W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms. Using 2 x 9W LED bulbs (800 lumens each) yields about 1600 lumens.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb choice. For a warm, cozy feel, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The natural brass finish will reflect warm tones nicely, enhancing the vintage industrial look.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 12 inches wide and 8 inches high. It projects only 8 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with low ceilings (8 ft or less). The compact size works well in hallways, closets, and small bedrooms.
