A 24-inch, six-light globe chandelier in polished nickel with mercury glass shades, ideal for dining rooms and entryways.
The Preston chandelier pairs hand-blown mercury glass globes with a streamlined polished nickel frame, creating a timeless look that suits both modern and transitional interiors. The fluted glass adds texture and elegance, while the adjustable stems allow you to customize the hanging height to fit your space.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 48-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 feet or higher, making a statement as a focal point
- Living rooms with a seating area, providing ambient light over a coffee table or seating group
- Open-concept spaces where a central fixture can define the dining zone
- Bedrooms with a sitting area, adding a touch of glamour and soft ambient light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Rooms where you need bright task lighting - this chandelier provides ambient light, not focused task light
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With six 100-watt maximum sockets, you can install LED bulbs to achieve your desired brightness. For a 12x12-foot dining room, six 60-watt equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each) would provide ample ambient light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified by manufacturer. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. If you use warm white (2700K-3000K) LED bulbs, the light will flatter skin tones and complement the polished nickel and glass finish.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 23.88 inches wide and 12 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 21 to 45 inches. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing you to customize the length. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 pounds. It is sloped ceiling adaptable, making it suitable for vaulted ceilings.
