A 48-inch wide, 4-light island light with an industrial, transitional style, finished in antique copper with clear glass shades.
The Preston island light combines vintage charm with a modern edge. The hand-blown glass shades with delicate fluting sit on a sleek Arcadia frame, creating a striking visual contrast. The adjustable stems allow you to customize the hanging height to fit your space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 60-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, providing ambient light over the table
- Open-concept living areas where you want a statement piece that bridges vintage and modern styles
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens with islands under 48 inches, as the fixture may overwhelm the space
- Spaces with low ceilings (under 8 feet) where the minimum hanging height of 14.75 inches may be too low
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as this is rated for damp locations only
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 100W E26 bulbs (not included), so the brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. For a bright, energy-efficient option, use LED bulbs with a high lumen output.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright, open feel. The color temperature depends on the bulbs; choose 2700K for a warm, cozy ambiance or 4000K for a cooler, more energizing light.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 12.63 inches high. The hanging height can be adjusted from 14.75 to 38.75 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep.
