A 48-inch, 4-light island light with clear glass bell shades and a brushed satin nickel frame, designed to illuminate large kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Preston collection combines elongated bell glass with a sleek frame, creating a timeless elegance. The fluted detailing adds texture and sophistication, while the brushed satin nickel finish enhances its modern appeal. Hand-blown glass ensures each piece is unique.
Best for
- Large kitchen islands (60 inches or longer), providing even task lighting across the surface
- Dining rooms with long tables, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Open-concept living spaces, adding a refined focal point
- Breakfast bars and peninsulas, offering bright, functional light
- Covered outdoor dining areas, with its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens or islands under 4 feet - the 48-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 38.75-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With four 100W incandescent equivalent bulbs (not included), this fixture provides ample illumination for cooking and dining. For a brighter output, use LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb used. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K warm white bulbs. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a sparkling, decorative effect.
