A 25-inch three-light semi-flush mount with a fluted globe shade in mercury glass, finished in brushed brass - ideal for kitchens, hallways, and dining areas that need ambient light with a vintage-industrial look.
The Preston collection pairs a streamlined brushed brass frame with hand-blown globe glass that features intricate fluting. The mercury finish gives the glass a reflective, slightly antique quality that catches the light beautifully. This fixture offers both form and function, making it a chic addition to any space.
Best for
- Kitchens with islands or breakfast nooks, providing ambient light over a 4-6 ft area
- Hallways and entryways with ceilings 8 ft or higher, mounted flush to the ceiling
- Dining rooms with a table that seats 4-6, hung above the center
- Living rooms with a seating area, adding a warm glow and vintage character
- Bedrooms with a seating area or reading nook, as a soft ambient light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so it should not be installed in areas that get sprayed with water
- Covered outdoor areas that are exposed to rain or moisture - damp-rated only, not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need more than 11.88 inches of clearance
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three bulbs (not included) with a maximum of 100 watts per socket, so you can achieve up to 300 watts of incandescent equivalent brightness. With LED bulbs, you can get the same light output for less energy. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The mercury glass shade will diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient glow that flatters the brushed brass finish.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 24.5 inches in diameter and 11.88 inches in height. It is designed for ceilings at least 8 feet high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. The fixture is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
