A 24-inch, 3-light semi-flush mount from the Preston collection, finished in polished nickel with clear glass shades, for kitchens and hallways.
This semi-flush mount features a jar-shaped, hand-blown glass with delicate fluting, blending vintage charm with a modern edge. The sleek polished nickel frame and clear glass create a striking visual contrast that works well in transitional and contemporary interiors. It's a versatile lighting choice for rooms with standard to slightly lower ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-9 foot ceilings, providing ambient light over a sink or prep area
- Hallways and entryways, mounted flush to the ceiling to avoid head clearance issues
- Dining rooms with a table that doesn't require a pendant, offering general illumination
- Bedrooms with low ceilings, as a stylish alternative to a flush mount
- Bathrooms with a vanity, thanks to its damp rating (but not in direct water spray)
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large open rooms needing bright, focused task lighting - this is ambient light
- Outdoor uncovered areas - it's rated for damp locations, not wet locations
How bright is it?
With three 100-watt max sockets (bulbs not included), this fixture can produce up to about 4500 lumens if you use 100W incandescent equivalents - enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. If you use LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with less energy. It's not designed for task lighting, but rather to fill a room with soft, even light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard incandescent bulbs, you get a warm, yellowish glow (around 2700K) that flatters the polished nickel finish and clear glass. If you prefer a cooler, more modern light, use LED bulbs with a higher color temperature. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright ambient light to a soft, intimate glow.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 24.25 inches in diameter and 13.63 inches high. It has a canopy that is 4.88 inches in diameter. It's designed for flat ceilings only (not sloped). It's a good choice for rooms with 8-foot ceilings, as it provides clearance while still making a statement.
