A three-light chandelier from the Preston Collection, finished in satin gold with mercury glass shades, ideal for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
This chandelier features globe-shaped glass with intricate fluting, creating a timeless look that is elevated by the streamlined metal frame. The balance between the globe's curves and the sleek frame makes this fixture a chic addition to any space, offering both form and function.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 48-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 6-8 foot island
- Open-plan living areas where a central fixture anchors the space
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 feet or higher
- Bedrooms with a seating area or reading nook, as ambient lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 15.5 inches
- Rooms where you need a primary light source for large areas - this is accent or ambient lighting
How bright is it?
With three 100-watt maximum sockets (bulbs not included), the brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect around 2400 lumens total - comparable to a single 150W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, warm glow. You can choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy feel or cool white (4000K+) for a more energizing atmosphere. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
