This 18-inch, 3-light globe chandelier from the Preston Collection features antique brass and mercury glass, perfect for dining rooms and living rooms.
The Preston chandelier combines a sleek antique brass frame with three hand-blown mercury glass globes. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the clean lines of the frame enhance its modern appeal. This fixture is ideal for adding a warm, inviting ambiance to modern and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Dining rooms over a 4-6 foot table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Living rooms and great rooms as a central light source
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8 feet or higher
- Bedrooms as a statement light over a seating area
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings (90-degree swivel included)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 39.5-inch drop
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting (this is ambient, not task)
How bright is it?
This chandelier is rated for three 100W bulbs (not included), so the total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect about 2,400 lumens total - enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. For a brighter effect, use LED bulbs with higher lumens.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a gentle glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 17.63 inches wide and 12.75 inches high, with an adjustable height from 15.5 to 39.5 inches. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems for customization. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher.
