A 7-inch jar-shaped wall sconce with clear fluted glass, finished in brushed satin nickel, for bedrooms, hallways, and other damp-rated indoor spaces.
The Preston sconce combines a vintage-inspired jar silhouette with a sleek, modern frame. The clear glass shade showcases the bulb and adds a touch of industrial charm, while the brushed satin nickel finish keeps it versatile for transitional and contemporary interiors. This fixture creates a warm, inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms or covered patios, adding a stylish glow
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, creating a welcoming first impression
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings where the 13.5-inch height may feel imposing
- Primary room lighting in large, open areas - this is an accent fixture, not a main light source
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite the damp rating
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent and ambient lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The clear glass shade provides a crisp, unobstructed light, ideal for showcasing decorative bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
