A 7-inch wall sconce with a clear, fluted glass jar shade on a polished nickel frame, ideal for bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
This jar-shaped glass fixture, with delicate fluting, offers a nod to vintage charm while maintaining a modern edge with the sleek Arcadia frame. The fusion of the jar silhouette and the minimalist frame creates a striking visual contrast that will elevate any room's design.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 in vanity, mounted in pairs on either side of the mirror for even task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, spaced 6-8 ft apart for ambient light
- Entryways, mounted at eye level above a console table to greet guests
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, paired with a dimmer for soft evening light
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of vintage-industrial style
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the sconce to be the primary light source - it's designed for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting in a bathroom or hallway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade lets the bulb's true color shine through. For a warm, inviting feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Note: the clear glass means the bulb is visible - a T-series bulb is recommended for a clean look.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 7.88 inches long, 6.75 inches wide, and 13.5 inches high, with a 7.88-inch extension from the wall. It's a compact size that works well in smaller spaces or as an accent. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high, covering a standard junction box.
