A 13-inch, 1-light wall sconce from the Preston collection, finished in black antique brass with a mercury glass shade - a vintage-inspired accent for hallways and bedrooms.
The Preston sconce features a jar-shaped, hand-blown glass shade with delicate fluting, offering a nod to vintage charm while maintaining a modern edge with its sleek Arcadia frame. The fusion of the jar silhouette and minimalist frame creates a striking visual contrast that elevates any room's design.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level to create a warm, inviting path
- Bedrooms, placed beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Living rooms and dens, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a curated look
- Entryways, adding a touch of vintage-industrial style
- Staircases and landings, providing subtle illumination
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet
- Spaces needing bright, primary lighting - this is an accent light
- Very large rooms where a single sconce may get lost
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but with a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), it provides accent or ambient light - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, ideal for highlighting a specific area, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. With warm white (2700-3000K) LED bulbs, the mercury glass creates a soft, diffused glow with a slightly reflective, vintage character. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to set the perfect mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7.88 in wide, 6.75 in deep, and 13.5 in high, with an extension of 7.88 in from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 in wide and 6.25 in high. Best for walls with at least 8 ft of clearance.
