A 7-inch, one-light semi-flush mount from the Preston Collection, finished in antique copper with a clear glass globe, perfect for hallways and entryways.
The Preston semi-flush mount features a globe-shaped glass shade with intricate fluting, creating a timeless look. The streamlined Arcadia frame balances the curves of the globe, making this fixture a chic addition to any space. Hand-blown glass adds a touch of craftsmanship, and the antique copper finish brings warmth to modern and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without overwhelming the space.
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a stylish flush-mount light source.
- Dining areas and kitchens where a low-profile fixture is needed.
- Bathrooms and covered patios, thanks to its damp rating.
- Spaces with a modern, industrial, or transitional design aesthetic.
Not ideal for
- Rooms with very high ceilings (over 10 feet) where a pendant or chandelier might be more proportionate.
- Areas requiring bright task lighting, as this is a single-bulb fixture.
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not adaptable.
How bright is it?
With a single socket rated for up to 100 watts, this fixture can provide ample light for a hallway or entryway. Using a 100W equivalent LED bulb, you can achieve bright, energy-efficient illumination. For a typical 5x7-foot hallway, this provides sufficient ambient light.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globe allows the bulb to be visible, so the light color depends on your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fluted glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches in length and width, with a height of 11.5 inches. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This compact size is ideal for smaller spaces like hallways, entryways, and bathrooms. It mounts flush to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
