Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted on either side of the bed as reading lights
- Hallways and staircases, providing ambient light and visual interest
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Bathrooms, as vanity lighting when placed above or beside a mirror (damp-rated)
- Transitional and modern interiors seeking a refined accent
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, task-oriented light, as this sconce is best for accent or ambient lighting
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite its damp rating
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent lighting or as a secondary light source in a room.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, opt for a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade will showcase the bulb, so consider a vintage-style filament bulb for a decorative touch. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to set the perfect ambiance.

This sconce extends 8 inches from the wall and measures 7 inches wide and 11.75 inches high. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It is designed for vertical mounting, making it ideal for narrow spaces.
