A 7-inch wall sconce with globe-shaped mercury glass and a champagne bronze finish, perfect for hallways and bedroom accent lighting.
The Preston sconce features a globe-shaped glass shade with intricate fluting detailing, creating a timeless look. The streamlined champagne bronze frame balances the curves of the globe, making this fixture a chic addition to any space, offering both form and function.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to create a welcoming glow
- Bedrooms, flanking the bed as reading lights
- Living rooms, accenting a feature wall or artwork
- Staircases, providing ambient light along the path
- Damp-rated for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need a flush mount - this sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens - about as bright as a traditional 100W bulb, ideal for accent or ambient lighting. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a gentle, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
