A 6-inch, 1-light semi-flush mount from the Preston collection, finished in black antique brass with a clear glass bell shade - designed for entryways and hallways.
The Preston semi-flush mount combines industrial charm with modern elegance. Its elongated bell glass shade is hand-blown and paired with a sleek metal frame in black antique brass, adding texture and sophistication. The fluted detailing on the glass enhances its visual appeal, while the clean lines of the frame keep it versatile for transitional and contemporary interiors. This fixture is perfect for adding a refined yet functional light to your home.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 foot ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, mounted flush to the ceiling to save space
- Bedrooms and living rooms with low ceilings where a pendant would be too tall
- Dining areas and kitchens, offering ambient light without obstructing sightlines
- Industrial, modern, and transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, but not wet rated
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 feet - the fixture is 13.25 inches tall
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), which can produce up to 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100-watt incandescent. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in entryways, hallways, and bedrooms, but may not be enough for task-oriented spaces like a kitchen workspace.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. With a clear glass shade, the light is bright and unobstructed, highlighting the bulb. You can choose a bulb with a warm color temperature (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, inviting feel, or a cooler temperature for a more energizing atmosphere.
