A 6-inch bell-shaped wall sconce in polished nickel with clear glass, designed for bathrooms and hallways.
The Preston collection features a classic bulb-shaped glass with beautiful fluting, complemented by a slim Arcadia frame. The rounded silhouette and sleek design make this fixture a perfect choice for modern and transitional interiors, creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror for balanced task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, spaced evenly to provide ambient light and visual rhythm
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of vintage-modern charm above a console or pedestal sink
- Bedrooms as bedside sconces, paired with dimmer switches for adjustable reading light
- Entryways, flanking a mirror or artwork to create a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce extends 7.63 inches from the wall
- Rooms where you need bright, focused task lighting - this is an accent fixture, not a primary light source
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient and accent lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not as intense as a large chandelier.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to suit your mood. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, creating a bright, crisp light. For a warm, traditional feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb; for a cooler, more modern look, choose 3500K-4000K.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6.25 inches wide, 7.63 inches deep, and 12.5 inches high, with an extension of 7.63 inches. The rectangular backplate measures 4.5 by 6.25 inches. This sconce works well in bathrooms, hallways, and bedrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
