An 8-inch flush mount ceiling light from Innovations Lighting with a matte black finish and mercury glass globe shade, perfect for entryways and hallways.
The Newton Sphere flush mount combines modern industrial style with architectural detail. The iconic globe-shaped shade is hand-blown glass with a mercury finish, creating a striking visual. The matte black canopy and oversized thumb screws add to its rugged, vintage appeal.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, offering even ambient light
- Bedrooms and living rooms with low ceilings, as a space-saving flush mount
- Kitchens and dining areas, adding an industrial touch
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Areas requiring bright task lighting - this is an ambient light, not a task light
How bright is it?

Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. The color temperature will depend on the bulb you select; a warm white (2700K-3000K) bulb is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
