A compact, cone-shaped flush mount with a mercury glass shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with low ceilings.
The Newton Cone collection brings modern industrial style to your ceiling with its striking cone-shaped shade and architectural details. The polished nickel finish and mercury glass create a timeless look that complements both farmhouse and vintage-inspired interiors. The glass shade is easily removed for cleaning, and the heavy cast canopy ensures a sturdy installation.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Hallways and entryways, adding a warm glow to narrow spaces
- Dining rooms and living rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant would be too tall
- Bathrooms and covered patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Farmhouse and industrial-style homes seeking a distinctive lighting accent
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, task-oriented light, as this fixture is best for ambient illumination
- Sloped ceilings, as this flush mount is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but for larger spaces you may want to supplement with additional lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, opt for a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade will diffuse the light, creating a soft, even glow that flatters the room's decor. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 8 inches in diameter and 12.5 inches in height, making it a compact choice for spaces with lower ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for flush mounting, so it will sit close to the ceiling, making it ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
