A 18-inch cone-shaped pendant light from Innovations Lighting, finished in champagne bronze with a clear glass shade, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant brings modern industrial style to your home with its striking cone-shaped glass shade and champagne bronze metal frame. The hand-blown glass is easily removable for cleaning, and the included stems allow you to adjust the hanging height to suit your space. Whether over a kitchen island or a dining table, this fixture adds a touch of architectural charm.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table to create a warm focal point
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, adding an industrial accent
- Open-plan living areas where a statement pendant is needed
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging length is about 27 inches
- Rooms needing bright, focused task lighting without a dimmer, as it is dimmable but requires a compatible dimmer
How bright is it?
This pendant uses one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb, which is bright enough for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the clear glass shade will cast a cozy, inviting glow that flatters wood tones and neutral palettes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and intimate. For best results, use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 20 inches high. It includes one 6-inch stem and two 12-inch stems, allowing a customizable hanging length from 26.75 to 50.75 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This size works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and entryways with ceilings of 8 feet or higher.
