A modern industrial arch pendant with a hand-blown mercury glass cone shade, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant brings striking architectural detail to your space. Its cone-shaped shade, available in mercury glass, creates a charming and timeless presence. The matte black finish and industrial style make it a standout choice for a kitchen light that combines form and function.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 4-6 ft counter
- Dining rooms, hung above a table for ambient and accent light
- Entryways and foyers, adding a dramatic focal point
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 26.75 inches
- Those seeking a flush mount or close-to-ceiling light
How bright is it?
This fixture is rated for a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens, which is suitable for ambient and task lighting in medium-sized rooms. For a brighter output, use a 100W equivalent LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 18 inches in diameter and 20 inches in height. With the included stems, you can adjust the hanging length from 26.75 to 50.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings up to 10 ft. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
