A 14-inch cone-shaped pendant from the Newton Cone collection, finished in champagne bronze with a seedy glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant brings modern industrial style to your home with its striking cone-shaped shade and architectural details. The hand-blown seedy glass diffuses light beautifully, while the champagne bronze finish adds warmth. This fixture is designed for sloped ceilings and offers adjustable hanging lengths up to 30 inches, making it a versatile choice for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting.
- Dining rooms, centered over a table to create a warm, inviting ambiance.
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings, as a statement piece.
- Living rooms with vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel.
- Farmhouse or industrial-style interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass details.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, as the glass shade may be prone to water spots.
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length, as the minimum height is 21.75 inches.
- Areas where a flush mount is required, as this is a pendant.
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can emit up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED bulb. It's bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island, but not intended as the sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade diffuses light, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a cozy dinner setting. The champagne bronze finish adds a golden hue to the light, enhancing warm wood tones and neutral palettes.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches in diameter and 15 inches in height. With the included stems, the overall height can range from 21.75 to 45.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings from 8 to 10 feet. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 lbs.
