This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), equivalent to about 1600 lumens with an LED replacement. That's bright enough for ambient lighting over a dining table or kitchen island, but not for primary room illumination in large spaces. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulb.
