Best for
- Farmhouse-style dining rooms, hung above a wooden table
- Living rooms with vaulted ceilings, as the adjustable stem allows for a dramatic drop
- Country cottage kitchens, providing ambient light over a breakfast nook
- Rustic lodge entryways, making a welcoming first impression
- Bedrooms with a cozy, natural aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Modern or minimalist spaces that prefer clean lines and metal shades
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts six 100-watt max bulbs (sold separately), so you can achieve up to 600 watts of incandescent equivalent light. With LED bulbs, you can get a bright, energy-efficient glow. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but since it is dimmable and compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, you can choose a warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy feel or a cooler white for a more modern look. The natural fiber shades will soften the light, creating a warm, diffused glow.
