A compact 8-inch mini pendant from the Newton Bell collection, finished in satin nickel with a mercury glass bell shade - ideal for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and entryways.
The Newton Bell collection brings modern industrial style with architectural details and a classic bell-shaped shade. The delicately curved glass shade complements the clean lines of this restoration-inspired line. This pendant is a versatile choice for a kitchen light that combines functionality with contemporary design.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or as a single statement
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused task lighting over tables
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome with a vintage-inspired glow
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Large open living rooms where a single mini pendant may be too small to light the whole space
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, it outputs about 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. If you use a lower-wattage LED, brightness will be lower but still suitable for ambient or accent lighting.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a cozy evening atmosphere. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - a warm white (2700K-3000K) LED or incandescent bulb will complement the industrial style.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 11.75 inches high. The hanging length is adjustable from 18.13 to 42.13 inches using the included 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This mini pendant works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways with standard 8-9 foot ceilings.
