A 14-inch dome pendant from the Newton Bell collection, finished in champagne bronze with a mercury glass shade, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Bell brings modern industrial style with a classic bell-shaped shade. The delicately curved glass complements the clean lines of this restoration-inspired line. Hand-blown glass and a champagne bronze finish give it a vintage yet contemporary feel, perfect for adding character to your home.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 28-34 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers with vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included sloped ceiling swivel
- Living rooms and great rooms as a statement piece
- Hallways and stairwells with 8-foot or higher ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Areas where you need bright, focused task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; it accepts one 100W incandescent equivalent (not included). With a standard 60W bulb, expect about 800 lumens - similar to a traditional ceiling light, good for ambient and general lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm glow.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches wide and 18.25 inches high. With the included stems, you can hang it from 21.75 to 45.75 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches round. It works well over kitchen islands and dining tables, and the swivel allows installation on sloped ceilings.
