An 8-inch wide, 1-light wall sconce from the Lawton Bell Collection, finished in matte black with a gloss white glass shade - ideal for bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
This sconce is a modern update to the timeless Newton design, featuring a sleek glass holder collar and refined details. The matte black metal backplate and gloss white bell-shaped glass shade create a clean, minimalist look that fits contemporary and industrial interiors. It can be mounted up or down, and the hand-blown glass adds a touch of craftsmanship.
Best for
- Bathrooms, flanking a vanity mirror or above a single vanity
- Hallways and corridors, providing warm accent lighting
- Entryways, adding a modern industrial touch
- Bedrooms, as a reading light beside the bed
- Living rooms, highlighting artwork or architectural features
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - damp rated, but not wet rated
- Spaces where you need bright task lighting - this is an accent fixture
- Large rooms as the sole light source - consider pairing with other fixtures
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 220 lumens - roughly the brightness of a 25W incandescent, ideal for accent or ambient light, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to your preference. The gloss white glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. For a classic look, pair it with an ST64 filament bulb (sold separately).
