An 8-inch frosted glass sphere shade from the Ballston Collection, ideal for damp locations like bathrooms and covered patios.
This Large Beacon shade from Innovations Lighting brings an industrial-modern touch to your space. The cased matte white glass with a frosted finish diffuses light softly, creating a warm ambiance. Its spherical shape and neckless design with a 2.125-inch hole make it a versatile choice for pendant or ceiling fixtures.
Best for
- Bathrooms and other damp locations, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task lighting
- Entryways and hallways, adding a sculptural accent
- Covered patios and porches, where moisture resistance is needed
- Industrial or transitional interiors seeking a vintage-inspired look
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings where an 8-inch diameter shade may feel oversized
- Areas requiring bright, direct task lighting without an additional bulb
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). The frosted glass diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow.
Light color and feel
The frosted matte white glass produces a diffused, warm light that flatters any room. Use a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) for a cozy feel, or a cooler bulb for a more energizing atmosphere.
