A 12-inch LED flush mount ceiling light from Innovations Lighting, finished in satin nickel with a white glass globe shade, for hallways and bedrooms.
The Genesis flush mount features a sleek satin nickel metal design capped with a boldly designed hand-blown white glass globe. This contemporary fixture provides a soft, diffused light that works well in modern and transitional interiors. Its compact size makes it ideal for lower ceilings or smaller spaces.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms, especially those with 8-foot ceilings
- Entryways and foyers, adding a modern touch
- Bathrooms (damp-rated) - but not directly in the shower
- Closets and laundry rooms
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open spaces that need a lot of light - this is a compact fixture
- Rooms with very high ceilings where a pendant or chandelier would be more appropriate
- Industrial or farmhouse-style interiors that prefer exposed bulbs or metal shades
How bright is it?
This flush mount includes one 3.5W LED bulb (350 lumens) - about as bright as a 40W incandescent bulb. This is ideal for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, but may not be sufficient as the sole light source in a large room.
Light color and feel
The included LED bulb emits a warm white light at 2700K, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The white glass globe diffuses the light, reducing glare and providing a soft, even glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The flush mount measures 7.88 inches wide, 7.88 inches deep, and 12.38 inches high. The canopy is 6.25 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high. The shade is 7.875 inches in diameter and 10.75 inches high. This fixture is designed for use in the United States only (110 volt wiring).
