How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets, you can install up to 60W incandescent equivalent LEDs per socket (240W total equivalent). For a typical kitchen island, we recommend 4 x 60W equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each) for a total of 3200 lumens - bright enough for food prep and dining. Bulbs not included.
Light color and feel
The mercury ribbed glass shades soften and diffuse the light, creating a warm, ambient glow with subtle sparkle. For a vintage look, use ST64 Edison bulbs (suggested). Choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs for warm white light that complements the matte black and mercury finish.
