A 6-inch globe pendant from the Crown Point Collection, finished in polished nickel with seedy glass - an industrial take on modern sophistication for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
This fixture pairs a cylindrical seedy glass shade with an updated restoration-style frame, featuring intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The hand-blown glass and polished nickel finish give it a vintage-industrial character that suits both modern and traditional interiors. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, and it's sloped ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or solo for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and stairwells, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Coffee bars and home bars, providing focused accent lighting
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - the damp rating covers humidity but not direct water spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord - the minimum hanging height is 11.75 inches
- Rooms requiring bright, focused task lighting - this is accent/ambient light, not a primary work light
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose (not included). With a standard 100W incandescent, expect about 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient lighting in a kitchen or dining area. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The color temperature will depend on your bulb - choose 2700K for a cozy, traditional feel or 3000K for a slightly crisper, modern look. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5.88 inches wide by 8 inches tall, with a shade that is 5.88 inches in diameter. The hanging height is adjustable from 11.75 to 128.75 inches, making it suitable for most ceiling heights. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
