A 12-inch dome flush mount from the Crown Point Collection, finished in polished nickel with seedy glass - a compact industrial-modern light for hallways, bedrooms, and entryways.
The Crown Point Collection puts an industrial spin on modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass is set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The hand-blown seedy glass diffuses light softly, while the polished nickel finish adds a refined touch. This flush mount is a versatile choice for lower ceilings, bringing character without taking up visual space.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light along the path
- Bedrooms, mounted centered or slightly off-center for a soft overall glow
- Entryways and foyers, welcoming guests with a warm, textured light
- Dining rooms with low ceilings, as a space-saving alternative to a pendant
- Offices or dens, paired with task lighting for a layered effect
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so it should be kept away from direct water spray
- Covered outdoor areas that may get wet - damp-rated only, not suitable for wet locations
- Rooms with sloped ceilings - this flush mount is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Spaces needing bright, focused task light - this is ambient, not a work light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), brightness depends on the bulb you choose. A 100W incandescent equivalent LED produces about 1600 lumens - enough to light a small to medium room as the primary source. For a softer ambient effect, use a 60W equivalent (about 800 lumens).
Light color and feel
The seedy glass diffuses light, creating a warm, textured glow. The color temperature is determined by your bulb - choose 2700K for a warm, cozy feel that flatters wood and neutral tones, or 3000K for a slightly crisper, still-warm light. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
At 12 inches wide and 9.63 inches high, this flush mount suits rooms of any size but shines in smaller spaces. It mounts directly to the ceiling, so it works well with 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
