A 10-inch flush mount ceiling light with a clear glass globe and matte black metal frame, ideal for entryways, hallways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Crown Point collection brings an industrial edge to modern sophistication. This flush mount features a hand-blown clear glass globe set in a matte black metal frame with intricate knurling details on the sockets and canopy. The compact design makes it a versatile choice for rooms where you want ambient light without taking up visual space.
Best for
- Entryways and hallways with 8-foot ceilings, providing a warm welcome and even illumination
- Bedrooms and living rooms needing a space-saving ceiling light that doesn't overwhelm the room
- Kitchens and dining areas where a low-profile fixture is preferred over a pendant or chandelier
- Damp-rated locations like covered porches or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Large rooms over 12x12 feet where a single flush mount may not provide sufficient light
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring a decorative statement piece, as the design is understated
How bright is it?
This fixture is rated for a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens, similar to a traditional 60W incandescent, providing comfortable ambient light for medium-sized rooms. For brighter output, use a 100W equivalent LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade works with any bulb color temperature. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb; for a more neutral or cool light, opt for 3500K-5000K. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. The clear glass provides unobstructed light distribution.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 10 inches in diameter and 9.63 inches in height, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for flush mounting, so it will not hang down, making it ideal for hallways and entryways.
