Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts four medium-base (E26) bulbs, up to 60W each (or equivalent LED). With four 60W incandescent bulbs, total output would be roughly 3200 lumens - enough to illuminate a large kitchen island as a primary light source. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable bulbs.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb choice. The clear waterglass shades with frosted, ribbed glass diffuse the light gently, reducing glare while allowing the bulb filaments to be visible for a vintage look.
