Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W (or LED equivalent). Using a 60W incandescent equivalent LED (about 800 lumens), it provides ample task light for a kitchen island or dining table. For ambient accent, a 40W equivalent (450 lumens) works well.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The charcoal glass shade softens and diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
