A single-light mini pendant from the Beacon collection, finished in black antique brass with a mercury glass shade, for kitchen islands and bars.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant combines industrial exposed fittings with a modern, clean design. The hand-blown mercury glass shade adds a vintage touch, while the black antique brass finish brings warmth. This pendant is perfect for adding focused task lighting or a decorative accent in smaller spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands or peninsulas, hung in a row of two or three for even task lighting
- Breakfast bars and counter seating, providing direct light for dining or work
- Entryways or hallways, used as a single statement piece
- Covered patios or sunrooms, as it is damp-rated
- Over a bedside table in a bedroom, as a reading light
Not ideal for
- Large dining rooms where a single 8-inch shade would be too small
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt socket, this pendant can produce up to 1,500 lumens with a 100W incandescent bulb (not included). That's about as bright as a 100W bulb, ideal for task lighting or accent illumination, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness. The color temperature depends on the bulb; warm white (2700K-3000K) enhances the industrial-vintage aesthetic.
Sizing and fit
The overall dimensions are 8 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 12.63 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 16.38 to 133.38 inches via the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
