Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base (E26) sockets, you can use up to 60W incandescent equivalent bulbs per socket (240W total). For a typical warm glow, we recommend 60W equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each) for a total of 3200 lumens - enough to brightly illuminate a medium-sized bathroom. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch allow you to adjust the ambiance.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shades filter light to a warm, golden tone, similar to vintage Edison bulbs. The fixture itself does not determine color temperature; choose bulbs with 2700K-3000K for a cozy, incandescent-like feel that complements the amber glass and matte black finish.
