A 7-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with an antique copper metal frame and slate glass shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Brookhaven Flute brings a touch of industrial vintage charm to your home. Its antique copper finish and hand-blown slate glass shade create a warm, inviting glow. The sleek bell shape fits seamlessly into a variety of decor styles, from modern contemporary to transitional.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, mounted as a central ceiling light to create a cozy atmosphere
- Dining areas and breakfast nooks, adding a stylish focal point
- Living rooms with lower ceilings, where a pendant would be too tall
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it's not wet-rated for direct water spray
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not adaptable for sloped installations
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - it's designed for ambient illumination
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens - bright enough to light a small to medium room. If you prefer energy savings, an LED equivalent will provide similar brightness with less wattage.
Light color and feel
The slate glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and relaxing. For best results, use a standard dimmer switch compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
With overall dimensions of 7 inches in diameter and 16.5 inches in height, this semi-flush mount is perfect for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The compact size ensures it won't overwhelm smaller spaces, while still providing ample illumination.
