A 7-inch semi-flush mount light with a hand-blown sapphire blue glass bell shade, finished in antique brass, for bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with standard ceilings.
The Brookhaven Flute collection brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to any home. This semi-flush mount features a sleek antique brass metal frame and a hand-blown sapphire blue glass shade that adds a pop of color. Its versatile style fits seamlessly into industrial, modern contemporary, restoration-vintage, and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Hallways and entryways, mounted flush to the ceiling to maintain clearance
- Living rooms and dining areas, adding a decorative accent with a colorful glass shade
- Covered patios and porches, as it is damp-rated for protection against moisture
- Spaces where a pendant or chandelier is too tall, offering a compact lighting solution
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring a primary light source for large rooms, as a single 100W bulb may not suffice
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb, providing ample ambient light for medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the sapphire blue glass will cast a cozy, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Use a standard dimmer switch for best results.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 16.5 inches high, with a canopy of 4.88 inches in diameter. It is designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings and is not adaptable for sloped ceilings. The compact size makes it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings.
